Man, with all the bad QB's in the NFL, how could this McCown guy not be starting somewhere?

I thought he played really well.  The Bears lose very little with him vs Cutler.

OTOH, we lose a lot with Wallace.

Oh, for the days of Matt Flynn.

I just hope AR is back next week.  He is the one guy we cannot afford to lose.

On the plus side, the run game was good again.  But our pass blocking left a lot to be desired.

It looked like the Bears wore our defense down in the fourth quarter.  That was a great drive they  had to seal the game.

Well, its a three way tie now.  We have as good a chance as any, actually better, as long as AR is OK.

You want to blame it on that play then deal with the fact that lots went right, too.  Blocked punt. Onside kick.

Lots did go right. Our running game was outstanding, we had two big plays that kept us in the game. But in my opinion (and golfman's) the decision by MM not to challenge put us in a hole we ultimately couldn't dig out of. Therefore: turning point.

I think the Packers lose even if they won that challenge. He should have challenged it though.

You can't win games when your defense doesn't get pressure all night.  Palmer and Neal were absent.  Raji played his heart out, but you can't win games when you can't get to the QB.  Way too much time to throw to receivers that will get open.
I'm right and everyone else does not have an opinion worth talking about.

The defense needed to win this game and they couldn't, maybe Matthews would have made a difference hard to say.

McCown isn't that great or he would be playing for some team, when you have all day to pass your Grandmother would look all pro.

I actually prefer to avoid knee-jerk reactions but I have no belief that Wallace can ever win a game for us. He's too slow and too short . I hope McCarthy and TT saw the same thing I did.

To be fair I doubt the Packers could do much with Wallace with his knowledge of our system at this point.

Missed tackles in Bears last drive and a horrendous back-up quarterback sealed the Packer's fate.  Dare I say Matt Flynn just released by Buffalo.  It was a great game for three and a third quarters; but the defense was not up to the task in the last Bear's drive.  Our running game is fine, we just need a half decent quarterback and I wasn't joking about Flynn.  He never had a chance in Seattle and Oakland had no wide receivers.  Buffalo doesn't run the West Coast....any better ideas....

I didn't say McCown was great.  I said he played well.

That is what you expect a veteran back up to do.

He did the same last week also.

He made the big plays when he had to, and he did not turn the ball over.

He won the game for them really.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Flynn, he does know the offense.
