The OFFICIAL Packers vs. Cowboys Game Day Thread

In Dallas, of course. The Packers showed heart and determination in that gritty but very needed win against Atlanta. With or without AR, time to get on a roll.

Never give up.

Regardless of Rodgers is able to play or not, tough matchup.

Interested to see how Dallas plays tonight.

here's an interesting article from a medical perspective on Rodgers' injury:

here's hoping he's cleared to play.  even with a leaky line and shaky defense, Rodgers and the playmakers give us a shot!

A tough match-up indeed. Especially since the Packers haven't won in Dallas (regular or post season) since 1989. Yep, it was the "Majik Man" who had that honor. Even though Rodgers did lead a comeback in 2007 when Favre went out after a sack by (I believe) Andre Ware. We were actually at the game.. A lot of memories, but the one that sticks was when Rodgers finished up warm-ups, he went into the end zone and did a "victory pose" on the small Dallas star in one of the back corners of the end zone. I thought it was hilarious, but a couple of younger Cowboy fans were extremely insulted/incensed.

Thanks for the link.   Good perspective on the injury.

Caught just a bit of the game, as my Bears-fan wife was watching.  Saw a graphic on their DL injuries this year.  Something in the high teens for number of individuals having played one of the four positions, and 6 of the 9 current DL are street free agents.  So, (a) once again, the Pack isn't the only one with people out and (b) even our OL might have a chance.

In Dallas. Flynn to start (most likely). 27-20 Dallas. Ending GB playoff hopes.

In Dallas. Rodgers to start. 30-24 GB wins. Playoff hopes continue.

Yep... not only the Packers.  Patriots are another team that comes to mind...  already without 2 of their best defensive players for the year (and their defense reflects that giving up avg of 27+ pts/game since losing them), now they lost Gronkowski for year as well.  I think their Super Bowl hopes are fairly slim now... will need a lot of luck.

Yep... have to agree, if Flynn starts do not much like the Packers chances.  Do not think our offense will be able to keep up unless defense reverts back to early season form in the first 3 quarters of games (not their 4th quarter performances which was not very good).

It definitely wasn't Andre Ware as he was a Heisman Trophy winning QB and well out of the NFL by 2007.  He was actually hit by Nate Jones:
