The first of three games in a row against division rivals, two away. Watch out for the Lions running game. That's the key to their offense.

Suburban Detroiter here and going to the game. Let me know if anyone else is going. I may be able to save your life. This front 7 won't be a dropoff from the last two weeks.

Thanks for starting this up Ricky.  Hope everything went well last week  thumbsup)

I don't know how to feel about this game.  On one side I feel like the offense finally got in a groove in the latter part of the first half last week and should be able to continue with that against Detroit.  On the other hand I feel like Detroit is going to have one of those 8-8 or so years where they're literally jekyll and hyde week to week.  They looked great in the opener, then struggled last weekend.  I'm hoping it was just due to facing a better opponent, but I have a feeling they may come out of the gate swinging.

If GB pressures Stafford and contain him to making errant down field throws and check down passes, they'll be OK.  Of course, they have to stop Bush and Bell too!  I think GB's offense should fare well against the Lions, though, it might be a slow day with the ground game!  Should be a close game - Pack 27 Lions 24.

Seems to me the Lions are all about emphasising the front four on Defense. That is where the money goes so perhaps their philosophy is/was to make do with lesser (cheaper) DB's and rely on 4 man pressure.

The lions will walk through Capers defense at will.  Can the Packers match that??? Capers must go.

It will be nice to play a team eventually that doesn't have a great front 7.  We have to wait until next week for that.

That being said does having a great front 7 really matter when your entire secondary is atrocious?  If there ever was a game where MM goes to a lot of 4 wide with a lot of quick routes it would be this one.  Get the ball out fast to our receivers and let them play in space against some weak CB and S play.

Lacy has had a mediocre first couple of weeks due to the circumstances (falling behind against good run D's) and I think MM will probably try to feed the guy a bit more this game; but you really have to take advantage of having a MVP caliber QB with a good WR group against such a weak secondary.

This game is going to be a shoot out and I will see 34-28 Packers.

Me thinks we need to come out throwing...a lot....then bring Lacey, Starks and Harris.

If we think we have problems at RT they are on their 3rd stringer already.

But hopefully Bulaga won't be out much longer.  He was limited at practice again yesterday however.
