That was a terrible spot we got screwed.

And not having a time out was even worse.  Had we been able to challenge that spot they would have turned it over on downs and not scored there.

There goes Matthews, flailing around again.

Hmmm how about now?

Dude has been playing excellent tonight

I respectfully disagree, but happy he got a sack.

I think you are in the minority with that opinion.

Wow ... I thought the Chiefs would gave us a tough game tonight.

Are we that good, or the Chiefs that bad, or both?

Prob both.  IMO Smith holds that offense back.  Lord knows what SF saw in him back in 2005 but thank GOD they did!!

Probably the same thing Thompson saw. Alex Smith was Thompson's #1 rated QB that year.

Can't believe we have let them stay in this game...

Need a stop here

I'm listening to Mike and Mike this morning and Cris Carter just said the final score of last night's game isn't indicative of what happened in the game.  He said we actually dominated the game and it wasn't close at all.    :o

Well Datone has a concussion. To bad because hes put together 2 really good games in a row

I hope he can recover before next Sunday seeing Guion is still suspended.

I think Guion is back? Wasn't it only 3 games?

I thought it was 4?   confused(

This is the first time I ever heard that.

Oh good, especially if D. Jones doesn't pass his concussion protocol this week.    :)

Letroy's suspension was 3 games, we was reinstated by the commish this morning

TT Thompson's draft charts are more guarded than the most important state secrets, so speculation as to Smith or Rodgers is just that - speculation.

Here is all Ted said on the subject:
"Three or four days before the [2005] draft," Thompson says, "we're doing our research, going down the board, and I'm looking, and I think, 'None of these teams are taking a quarterback.' I couldn't find one, after San Francisco. We hadn't really paid attention to Rodgers because we just figured he'd be gone. Plus, we didn't have that big a need there, obviously. So I just buried myself and went to look at all the Rodgers tape -- from games, from the combine, from his pro day. After a couple of days I just felt he was too good to pass. So I said, 'If he falls to us, we're taking him.'"
The Green Bay Packers never lost a football game.
They just ran out of time.
