The OFFICIAL Rams vs Packers Game Day Thread
« on: October 07, 2015, 07:20:50 AM »
One quarter of the regular season gone, and so far, so great. The OL will once again be challenged, and the Rams offense is nothing to scoff at. But in Lambeau, the Packers should prevail. Though, as they showed against Arizona, an upset is always possible. Because it seems every year the Packers always have that "game that got away." The one they should have won, but somehow found a way to lose. Besides, SF showed how to slow down and harass Rodgers. Add in a good offense, and this game becomes more problematic.

Also, a question. Why a separate unofficial thread and this one? Why is this one closed after being offered, then re-opened later? Not angry/defensive/jealous. Simply curious.

Because the official Seattle game day thread was originally used as a bash session for how "awful" GB was in the Chicago game.

I think by locking these until the actual game day, they were trying to curb unrelated angst that we aren't blowing these teams out and discussing it off topic

Thanks Ricky and we will reopen the Game Day thread on Game Day for discussion.

Three keys to winning this game:

1. Win turnover battle. In other words don't turn it over.
2. Offensive line has to hold up against their defensive line. Their back seven doesn't scare me.
3. Control Gurley so the Rams can't control the clock. Tavon Austin is their only other offensive threat.

We take care of those three things we win going away. WE don't and it's a dogfight in Lambeau.

Go Pack Go!

Love Bulaga's toughness but hope he's not coming back prematurely and also, rusty because that too could be a disaster.

St. Louis wins toss and takes the ball. Let's have a three and out and make them regret that decision.
