The OFFICIAL Packers vs Panthers Game Day Thread
« on: November 04, 2015, 08:51:02 AM »
Time to reroup. Time for a gut check. Time to get back on track. Choose your cliche. But the Packers need a win for several reasons. First, tie breaker considerations. Second, the Packers haven't beaten a team with a winning record on the road in the last nine games. Also, the Vikings are looming as being tougher than some thought. A threat for the conference title?Probably not, but why take chances? And, for those who want to rehash Sunday night's debacle, here's a fory story from the J-S.

Montgomery, Rollins, Shields listed as doubtful

Packers WR Ty Montgomery (ankle) and CBs Quinten Rollins (neck) and Sam Shields (shoulder) have been downgraded to DOUBTFUL.

Packers G T.J. Lang (illness), T Bryan Bulaga (knee) and LB Mike Neal (hip) have been added to the injury report. Lang and Bulaga are PROBABLE while Neal is QUESTIONABLE for tomorrow’s game against the Panthers.

That would be me Ricky.

The first three are no surprise, but Neal being questionable at this point is not good. I would expect the two probables to go but Bulaga with a knee again gives me anxiety.

This does present an opportunity for two young CB's to show their talents. I expect you'll see a lot of Goodson and Gunter. My curiosity will be which one is going to play first in the secondary.

I do not have a good feeling about this game.   I just don't like the way the guys have been playing since the Rams game.    :-\

That is about what I expected.

The thing that puzzles me is Kennard B at TE.

I mean he was a very interesting prospect I thought.  And now he has a really good opportunity to play with Andrew Q out.  And he cannot even get on the field?

Maybe he has a long learning curve.

Perillo has had more time in the system. He is also a better blocker. I think Backham still has a chance to be a player but is a year away from being 'NFL' ready.

I look for the Packers to bounce back this week, and play like a championship contender. I'm excited because the FOX affiliate is airing the game locally here in the Portland viewing area.

With that said the other early game that I'll be keeping track of is Minnesota vs the Rams. I think the Vikings "...are who we thought they were..."

GO PACKERS!

It's also on here in deep South Texas. Haven't missed a game yet.

This from PFT. Hopefully Hayward has a better game than last week, though that wouldn't be too hard. Though, for sure, Cam Newton is not Peyton Manning.

If it's not too much to ask, it'd be great if GB could snap the ball more than 49 times today.  Hold Carolina to less than 500 on offense would be swell too!

Well...  At least we're not making it super easy for them to march down the field...
