Great game by Green Bay, I was not expecting that defensive performance against the run... that is what won the game.

Agreed. That was the key to victory imo.

I heard in the pregame that the Pack practiced run D with the pads on during the week....

I have a feeling we're going to kick their ass today. I think they come in too pumped up and if we weather the 1st quarter we romp.

Packers 35
Vikings 17

OK a little bit lower scoring than I thought.

golfman, credit where credit is due. Your prediction was prescient. Mine was putrid. Thank goodness. Excellent game call!  thumbsup)

The saying, 'a blind squirrel stumbles upon a few acorns comes to mind!' More Green and Gold colored glasses than any thoughtful insight. Other than I thought the game would be too big for MN at this point in their development.

They are lucky didn't call Jones for spiking the ball.

Yup, would've ruined a great play.

Jones has been much better this year, probably because it's a contract season.

It's not his contract year. All 1st round picks are signed to a minimum 4yr deal.

Right, my mistake.

With the teams option for a 5th.

I thought our offense played very mediocre today but I'll take the W. Thankfully the least penalized team in the NFL today was one of the most penalized teams in the league today.  Our struggling offense went down the field on the back of those penalties on 2 or 3 different occasions.

A win is a win though.  Defense played outstanding after not looking all that great for the last 4 weeks.  This was the first time we've beat a quality team on the road in a long long time.
