The OFFICIAL Bears vs Packers Game Day Thread
« on: November 23, 2015, 07:24:44 AM »
No rest for the wicked (Bears) or the vindicated (Packers). A return to normal for both teams on Sunday? Just as the Packers swooned, the Bears surged. Cutler has actually been statistically better than Rodgers during that time. But, since this is definitely a "what have you done for me lately" league, its only the last game that truly matters. Both teams are missing starters, which is normal. Now, its time to see which team is a contender, and which a pretender. Time to get a firmer grasp on the division title. Time to sweep the Bears. In a rout. Make Brett grin from ear to ear as he remembers all his years as a Bear hunter.

The Bears continue to be their own worst enemy, Cutler interceptions and major missteps in play calling.

It doesn't matter how the Bears look coming into the game. Their starter is still Jay Cutler and he will find a way ,as he always does, to mess up against Green Bay.

I agree. CHI's gotten its act together since we played them in game #1.
A big game we have to win IMO.

I'm more than hopeful on the injury front - although the short week probably wont allow these guys go get back on the field:
Hyde
Linsley
Monty

If we had lost to Minnesota, then I'm not sure we would have won this game.

The team overall showed signs of life vs. Minnesota, so I'm hopeful that continues in a home game this week vs. the Bears. Should be a close game, and the atmosphere should be as loud as ever.

Key will be to stop the Bears running game, we struggled with that in our first meeting, and it has only improved with Langford playing well and Forte likely returning. Not sure if Alshon will play or not, with him that offense puts up 27 a game, without him, they struggle.

Hyde isn't a big loss, been watching him chase players in the middle of the field all year. Disappointing that Montgomery continues to have setbacks, having him in the offense would greatly help us.

Hope Quarless is back this week, always nice to have another body on the depth chart.
