Packers aim to showcase speed of Ty Montgomery, Trevor Davis

"The Packers are not worried about quarterback Aaron Rodgers. In their minds, he is absolutely fine, throwing well ... and not the problem with the offense. Instead, as Green Bay gets set to host the Lions today, the focus is on more explosive plays. And to do that, multiple sources tell me the Packers are putting more speed on the field."

Unless the club is just a game day thing and he's practicing (and catching passes) I'm figuring he'll have to get some practice under his belt before he hits the field at WR.

Inactives:
Datone Jones
Clay Matthews
Sam Shields
Morgan Burnett
Letroy Guion
Joe Callahan
Kyle Murphy

Michael Cohen

Down five starters on defense. Hyde moves to safety, Peppers and Clark start up front, Rollins plays opposite Randall in base.

I'm right and everyone else does not have an opinion worth talking about.

Lions inactives: Levy, Ansah, Antwione Williams, Adairius Barnes, Dahl, Lucas, Orson Charles

They won't have Levy and Ansah - which is pretty huge.  We're down 5 of our better defensive starters.  But not having Ansah will really hurt their pass rush.

I was wondering if DeAndre Levy was back this year for the kittens. Looks like he got hurt the first week of the season-injured a quad.
Too bad for the young man from Milwaukee; he’d turned into a really good player prior to getting hurt last season.

That written, I sure hope the Packers can get their sh!t together in this last game before the bye. I too think they need to get Eddie more carries...BETWEEN the Tackles! Get those TEs the ball, and get this offense kick started with some short quick hitters and YAC.

On defense I think Stafford will cough up the ball, and give the Packers some extra chances; they simply have to punch in some TDs! Yes, the Packer defense is depleted, but so is detroit’s.

AND, Mr. Schum can’t just have a “better” game today. I think he needs to have a GREAT game to save his job. If not, I really hope the Packers show him the door tomorrow, and get somebody in that can punt. This is ridiculous. They need to flip the field on some punts, pin the kittens against their end zone, and then turn that defense loose!

GO PACKERS!
