The OFFICIAL Seahawks v Packers Game Day Thread
« on: December 08, 2016, 01:12:23 PM »
Another week, another chance, another challenge. This will be the last non-divisional matchup for the Packers until the playoffs- if they make it to the playoffs. It all depends on the next four weeks. And those four weeks start with Sunday. Win and keep hope alive. Lose, and hope will be dimmed considerably. Personally, I have a good feeling about this game. It just seems it's about time this team shows what they're capable of when hitting on all cylinders, both offensively and defensively. But, whatever- until that final whistle blows eliminating the Packers from playoff contention, I'm not giving up.

Are you in PHX?  We just moved to north Phoenix in July from Alaska.

Looking forward to this game.  Conventional wisdom says we lose.  But I have hope and a 6 pack waiting.  I'll be watching the game with a Hawks friend via Google Hangouts for our close to annual Packers/Hawks debacle.

We pick up local Phoenix TV stations thru DISH Network Satellite in our RV.

We are in Eloy about half way between Phoenix and Tucson.

I was more confident earlier in the week. For some reason Perry's injury really changed things for me. I haven't had this "Well, we're probably doomed" feeling since the last 49ers playoff game.

That said, Go Packers! Crazy things can happen in the snow and I hope that favours us. I want to see how the Seahawks respond without Thomas manning the middle of the field. There might be some plays to be made over the middle. On defense a few big splash plays would go a long way.

I've gone sky diving in Eloy a couple times.  Pretty awesome if you're into that type of thing.

Couldn't have said it better myself.  I'm not super optimistic in terms of the talent matching up, but we got the ugly field conditions (or so it seems) and that can always make a game more interesting.  Go Pack Go!

With the field conditions lousy the game goes to the runners.....whoever does it best will probably win.

Since seattle-UGH  :P, is the regional team here in northwestern Oregon I’ll get to see the game today.

But about the only thing I can come up with to hang my hat on is that the Packers still OWE the seagulls one, maybe even two.

I’m hoping for some Cold, Snowy Lambeau Field Mojo, with the Football Gods smiling on the Green and Gold today! AND, I did cook up a Big Batch of Packer Chili (green and gold peppers), for today’s game. So I’ll be eating well regardless of the outcome!  ( - : #

A few days ago I posted the Packers will have to dig deep and come up with something extra to win this football game. A little good luck wouldn’t hurt either! But stranger things have happened, and if the Packers DO make some sterling plays and come away with a Win they’ll serve notice they’re a team to be reckoned with down the stretch!

They DO, AFTER ALL still owe the seahawks one...or maybe even two!

Other than that...I got nothin’.

GO PACKERS!!!

They have already shortened the advisory to 9pm local time and the snow should be out of the Green Bay area by kickoff looking at the radar. With the field having a tarp on it along with the heating coils on during the worst of the storm this morning, the field should not be too bad.
