Somewhat expecting a trade down from TT into the early second.    Some of the guys being considered will be there early in rd 2.  Unless someone falls to 29, or they have a player they love, Id probably move down a few spots, pick up another pick.  JMO.

He would need a trade partner.  I am not sure there will be anybody on the board at 29 that teams with early second round picks will feel the need to move up and get.

It is a good idea, and it could happen, but I suspect Ted will be stuck with the pick at 29.

Good time to reveal my draft day pet peeve.  Why does the first team go on the clock?  They've  had since Jan to decide or make a trade.  Make the pick already, and get on to the second pick.

Give me a break.......
Turned on NFL Network and they've got some "pre-Oscar-like" red carpet thing going on.
Somebody asks "What are you wearing?" and I'll throw a shoe at the TV!

Agree, it's football for crying out loud.  I'd walk the red carpet in dirty jeans, a T shirt, a 6 pack and my dog.  This is getting cheezy, but the players moms are certainly soaking it up.  Lol.

To be fair, it was called the red carpet show.

I can't stand the Kardashions; but, I'm not going to turn on their show then complain about the show.

Chicago trades up one slot for god knows what reason.

And they gave up 3 additional picks as well.

3rd and a 4th this year and a 3rd next year.  Yeah the Bears idiotically panicked.

And they take Mitchell Trubisky out of UNC.  Bears management should be given drug tests.

Bears fans grade this pick a big "WHAT?".

Can't believe we're still profiting from the cutler trade so many years ago.

So they trade up to #2 to take a guy who may not play a single snap this season. They keep changing the front office, but they always do the same dumb types of things.

49ers take DE Solomon Thomas

Fricken Bears.  Yep they will suck again next year.  Pretty cavalier with picks.  2 3rds and a 4th to move one spot.  They could have got him anyway had they just stayed put.  No one had a clue they were thinking QB.  Problem with the Bears is they don't know how to develop QB's never have and never will.  Should be interesting to get the take from my friends south of the border.  Bears should just stay true to what they are build a championship D and have a solid running game.  Oh well guess they are trying to change.

Well the father in law just called.  Bears season ticket holder.  Boy is he pissed.  Hates the trade hates the player.  I offered my condolences.  Told him give it up and become a Packers fan.  ha ha ha....
