TT in his draft presser a few mins ago, stated he is not ruling out in trading (33rd pk) that pick tomorrow night.
You are either part of the solution or part of the problem.

The more I see, the more I want Ted to get more picks for friday- a lot of talent there.

I'm in between. It would be nice to get another 2nd and be able to nab 3 of those players. Either way there are 10-15 players that still have 1st round talent

I'm not sure I see one.....talent, yes, day one talent no......unless perhaps you like the risk of Cook and Mixon.

Whether we trade back again or stay at 33, I think there is a good chance that we trade to move up from 61.

We've got to start picking them though. Cant be dropping back continually cause eventually the "impact meter's" gonna switch to "Good but JAG" level.

Trying to see if there is any team likely interested in trading up for a QB?

Difference in opinions I guess. Imo, there were 40-45 players that had 1st round potential. Mixon and Cook are top 20 talent, Melifonwu, Moreau, and Willis have 1st round measurables, Budda is one hell of a saftey/slot corner, I like Awuzie better than Adoree, King, Kizer (potential), Robinson, Lamp, Kamara, Sydney Jones (injury), Cunningham, even Zay Jones(imo) is a 1st round talent. This draft is loaded

Ted is listening:

“General manager Ted Thompson did note that he is open to shopping the first pick of day two: ‘Oh yeah, you can put that down,' he said. ‘That’ll save us a couple of phone calls."

TT said the board was strong at 29 but obviously didn't love any of his choices in R1.
This is the epitome of best pick available strategy.
McShea said there were 80 players with starting ability in this draft.
With skill and some luck we could end up with 4 new starters or real contributors.

Arizona was one of the few teams to interview Kizer at the combine, attend his pro day and hold a private workout.

They hold picks 45 (2nd) and 77 (3rd). To be about equal we would have to give 33 and 108. But if we could get both for 33 that would be the bomb and what TT is looking for.

Does anyone know why Cook slipped out of the first round?
