Thanks Leader!

How long does Hundley play tonite?
I'm guessing whole 1st half and first series of 2nd half.

Jordy won't play, but he will get to play catch with Cobb and Davante for a bit.
I'm anxious to see who the 3rd/4th/5th WR's will be tonite.

Also will be closely watching the 3 drafted RB's (Williams, Jones, Mayses)

Looking forward to the game!!

Football is back!

Let the fun begin!!

They need to be getting the starters reps. If the offense strguess to start the season as they have done the last several seasons they will start 0-2.

I made a list of players I was most interested in. It was a long list and I'm not sure every single one is fit to play.

QB 6 Callahan, 7 Hundley, 8 Hill
G 62 Patrick, 64 McCray, 74 Gray, 79 Amichia
WR 11 Davis, 16 Yancy, 19 Dupre, 89 Clark
TE 84 Kendricks
RB 30 Williams, 32 Mays, 33 Jones, 88 Montgomery
FB 40 Kerridge

DL 94 Lowry, 96 Price, 97 Clark
LB 50 Martinez, 51 Fackrell, 55 Heiman
S 27 Jones, 29 Brice
CB 20 King, 23 Randall, 24 Rollins, 28 Hawkins
P Vogel
I'd also like to see how the long snapper/holder/kicker function together, same with ST units

That's 30 players plus two units, too many really, still that's not so surprising, for the very first preseason game of a new season.

It's pointless wishing for no injuries - they happen or they don't, but I would like to see good things from lots of guys, even if there is (as there will be) some bad mixed in.

Today's captains will be T David Bakhtiari (offense), S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (defense) and LB Joe Thomas (special teams).

They really don't though.  Especially not in the 1st game.  Maybe a half in game 3 and they will be fine
I'm right and everyone else does not have an opinion worth talking about.

You mean like the last several seasons? Those struggles suggest that isn't fine.

They need more than that. They need to be getting in routine of playing in a game every week. They cannot afford a slow start this season because they can very easily be 0-2. Practice does not replicate game conditions and having sim sit the entire pereseason once again leads to a naive belief you can simply turn it on like a switch. Even Mike McCarthy wouldn't outright deny not playing in the preseason has anything to do with the slow starts. They need snaps on a weekly basis here.

Good news for Golfman- Michael Cohen tweeted that there is competition at back up center- Lucas Patrick has been practicing at both guard and center.
