Those are true statements, but in 30-40 years neither of those will be considered the GOAT. It somewhat becomes a generation thing and it happens in every sport. The greats from the 60's and 70's are now an after throught to the normal fan when they talk about the greatest of all-time at a position.

That is the way it is and will be. I guess my point is, Rodgers can't control if he's going to be considered the GOAT or not. He can be somewhat certain he may have some from of CTE. He may need all the money he can get his hands on to insure he can afford health care. That is a bit of an overstatement, but one never knows and a guy wanting to get paid is not a bad thing.

Rodgers, we should note, hasn't made his contract an issue.
