2017 NFL Kickoff

Anyone watching this?  Surprising, but I guess Hightower and Amendola injuries might be big. Zombo is still playing!

For me, Alex Smith was more important.  He's my $1 FF QB.  Woo-hoo.

Did Kareem Hunt look good or what?

The guy has fine vision, good power and his speed is not bad.  Always liked him in college.

Alex Smith had a career night.  And the Chiefs defense played well.

Eric Berry got hurt late in the game, a real shame for the Chiefs.  That guy is one of the best safeties in the NFL.

See?  Tom Brady can't win either when the defense gives up 40+ points.

Those that were claiming Brady could play until he is 45 are rapidly pumping their brakes this morning.

Seems as though many Americans are taking a knee on the NFL.

I didn't watch it because I thought it would be a blowout. Sorry I missed it now.

I started watching it but the continual love for Brady put me to sleep. I was out before halftime.

Some Pats "fans" have taken to twitter and other social media to demand that Garoppolo replace Brady. Apparently they forget that sometimes QB's have slow starts, bad games, etc. Maybe Gisele is getting on his case to quit before he gets another concussion. After all, if AR is playing poorly because of a woman, then it's obvious that is the answer as to why a player has an off game/slow start. And golfman, that is partially the reason I didn't watch at first. Since the Pats were an unstoppable juggurnaut, who were going to go 16-0 and waltz off with ring #6, as so many in the media were saying, why bother watching?

The Chiefs played an excellent game.  And BB admitted after that he was outcoached.

It was particularly bad on defense with Smith getting over 300 yards and Hunt rushing for 150.

BB had better get it together, because he had injuries to both Amendola and Hightower also.

His defense looked really vulnerable.

I wouldn't count New England out yet.

They started slow a few years ago, and everyone thought Brady was too old, and BB didn't give him enough weapons, ...yada, yada yada....

I think they won the super bowl that year.

It isn't how you start, its how you finish, and guys like BB and McCarthy understand that.
