From APC:

"Because Gunter has less than three accrued years, he must pass through waivers before he can negotiate with another team. If he clears, the Packers could sign him to the practice squad."

You think the GBPs would consider him for the PS? See if time and training improve his overall game?
I'm a proponent of "T+T" can make for a better player. Is there upside still for Gunter? Or have we seen enough to know not?

If he would want to return, I think he would be better to have on the PS than Whitehead. Having a player with starter history sitting in waiting incase of injury on your PS would be a nice luxury to have. With that said, I think he is claimed today by someone.

I liked Gunter a lot, but I get it as a football move. I hope he lands in a good spot. I would take him back on the practice squad in a heart beat.

I wish him well with the Panthers. LaDarius gave everything he had to the Packers while he was with them. Unfortunately for Gunter there was better Talent on the Packers Squad ahead of him. This combined with injurious and a numbers game led to his release.
The Green Bay Packers never lost a football game.
They just ran out of time.

Not sure it really matters.  They were bottom of the roster players for GB, and they are now bottom of the roster players for other teams.  As we saw on Sunday, you need to have 22 good ones and then a few other good ones at each position in order to fill in for injured players.

Seattle only has about 16 good ones.  Unfortunately for them, none of them play OL.  The league-wide consensus is that there is an extreme lack of starting-quality OL around the league.  http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/ct-nfl-offensive-line-crisis-20170913-story.html?scrlybrkr=7b65b05b

Seeing Seattle's starting line play worse than our back-ups did in the PS... I now understand why we kept what we see as so many mediocre backup OL.
I'm right and everyone else does not have an opinion worth talking about.

Looks like he landed with the panthers. That didn't take long.

I had forgot about the Panthers, but he is a very good fit for that defense.

I saw Marshall Newhouse is starting at guard for the Oakland Raiders when I was watching that game.

He should play well for the Panthers in that scheme, plus they have a good pass rush.

I imagine he will be the nickel back there. Maybe dime.

Which makes the 4th NFL team he has been a starter for:

GB
CINN
NYG
OAK
